A pit stop for open dialogue on the future of Europe’s automotive sector.
The story
This is not your typical Brussels policy event. The ACEA Roadhouse was a pit stop for open and constructive dialogue on the future of Europe’s automotive sector, bringing policymakers, industry leaders and stakeholders together on the industry’s decarbonisation trajectory. The focus is shifting from ambition to implementation, and that is exactly what the week was about.
It opened with a panel asking what happens now the automotive package is out, with senior voices from the European Commission and from the sector’s leading associations. Set in a retro roadhouse-meets-garage, it was built as a relaxed setting for open, forward-looking discussion at a pivotal moment in Europe’s automotive transition.
