The story
How do you chart the future of food with an event that shakes up the Brussels EU bubble? With FoodDrinkEurope we built an afternoon of bite-sized, energetic talks on sustainable food systems — three thematic tents running concurrent expert speakers across net zero, nutrition and packaging.
Each edition added something. The first brought an interactive paint-by-numbers mural and a 40-year FoodDrinkEurope history timeline. The second introduced a customised marble run tracing the farm-to-fork story, doubling as a food donation initiative. The third added workshops and taste and innovation spaces showcasing member developments. The fourth expanded the food trucks and featured a Mars partnership showcase. Across the four, we co-created the Action Plan for Sustainable Food Systems documents.
