The Reset

The story

The Reset is a video podcast series exploring what it really takes to make European industry competitive again. Produced by Bump and hosted on The Parliament, it is recorded at the Bump Policy Experience Space in Brussels, some of it in front of a live audience, and hosted by Francesca Stevens, Secretary General of EUROPEN.

Across two seasons the series has worked through the files that decide whether European industry holds its ground: the aluminium crisis, the automotive sector's transition to electric, progress against the Antwerp Declaration, the part chief executives play in policymaking, the gap between the Draghi agenda and its implementation, and whether the EU institutions are fit for what comes next. In Europe's auto reckoning, Sigrid de Vries, Secretary General of ACEA, takes on the combustion engine ban, battery technology and charging infrastructure, and what the transition means for jobs and trade.
